Chinese New Year is just around the corner! With most COVID restrictions eased, many families will be doing more visiting and having more reunion meals.
Wondering how you can manage your little one’s sleep during this period? Here are 3 tips:
1. Let your child nap on the go
Get your baby to nap on the go, in the carrier, stroller or car seat, while moving around and visiting. It is better to let them have a short nap rather than skipping the nap entirely!
2. Look out for sleepy cues/pay more attention to wake window
Try to watch out for any sleepy cues or get your baby to sleep when their usual wake window is almost up. Naps on the go aren’t as restful so your little one may require more naps during the day.
3. Have an early bedtime
Let your baby have an early bedtime if possible! This will prevent them from being too overtired after a day of short naps.
