Getting your husband on board the sleep training journey makes a HUGE difference! Sleep training can be successfully completed if everyone is on the same page and plan.
Trust me as a mom, I’ve had more than enough experience on functioning with little sleep. I remembered before I can even close my eyes, I had to go into my baby’s room and soothe her again, and you guessed it, this process can be repeated for countless of times throughout the night.
We knew something is not right, we exhausted all other methods on figuring out our child sleep issues on our own, BUT it just didn’t work as we did not apply it correctly on our child, and our poor child ended up being more overtired and having much more inconsolable cries. So, we decided to seek help from a sleep coach (yes, I was an ex client of @sgsupernanny 😊).
We knew the seriousness of sleep deprivation is real, endless headache and tears, the feeling of failure being a mom and we know our child well-being depends on our own wellbeing.
Sleep training on your own can be overwhelming, I am super grateful for my partner and the parenting team we’ve formed together. When the going gets tough, we lend our emotional support to one another, he reminds me the reason we embark on this sleep training journey and we committed to the program 100%.
We reaped so many benefits from sleep training our little one, we would say this is by far one of the best investments ever! Also, we became more confident parents when it comes to handling our child’s sleep. I am thankful for an understanding, empathetic and a patient husband who loves to see his loved ones having a well-rested sleep every night.
Sincerely,
Tze Teng (Former mombie now Sleep Supernanny Dream Team Sleep Consultant)
